Nazneen
Nazneen is our office manager for both locations. She is a practicing optician for over five years. Nazneen loves working with our patients and making sure their needs are met by each member of our team. She has great knowledge in the field of optics, frame selection and the health of the eyes. She has radiant personality and is a natural leader. Nazneen recently moved from Indianapolis where she was born and raised. Nazneen is very excited to be living in Chicago close to friends and family. She graduated from Indiana University at Bloomington with a degree in Nutrition and Biology.
Karina
Karina is the longest-standing member of our Village Eyecare family. Karina grew up in Chicago and is working on her Bachelors Degree at nearby UIC in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Karina’s caring and sweet personality is apparent to anyone who works with her. She is greatly skilled at frame and lens selection that suits each patient’s features and personality.
Kathleen
Kathleen joined Village Eye Care over a year ago. She has been an incredible addition to our office. Kathleen graduated from UIC with a degree in Art History. Kathleen is multi-talented in computer programming, graphic design, art, and urban planning. Kathleen is very attentive to detail which patients appreciate when working with her.
Marlow
Marlow is a muli-talented designer who is a true understanding for design and fashion. He identifies with the importance of well-designed products. Marlow is studying Industrial Design at UIC.
Susanna
Susanna loves the optical and optometric field since she started. She has a wide range of experiences ranging in political campaigns, social work, and writing. She studies political science and journalism.
Amanda
Amanda is originally from Michigan. Amanda has been an optician for over 7 years in various optical locations across Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. She earned her ABO certification in 2003. She loves working for Village Eyecare in the Little Italy neighborhood because the close nit community reminds her of her small hometown in Michigan.
Humaira
Humaira, a student at UIC pursuing a Bachelors Degree in History and Math, has been with Village Eye Care since June of 2009. She is well versed in the optical business, as well as other fields in the medical industry. With a keen eye for style and a winning personality, Humaira will get you in that perfect pair of glasses in no time at all!
Ben
Benjamin is one of the newest additions to our staff at the South Loop location. Originally from Minnesota, he has recently moved to the Windy City via Washington, DC, and has worked in the optical field for over five years as an ABO Certified Optician, Optomertic Technician and Optical Manager. An education and background in Theatre and Music will ensure an imaginative and inventive insight to your next eyewear purchase - but don't let that scare you - he is also an excellent consultant for your classic and conservative looks, too!
